ISLANDIA

The country that I would like to visit is Iceland, from what I have seen in photographs, I can say that I am attracted to its beautiful landscapes. Its language, Icelandic, it seems to be quite complicated for someone whose mother tongue is Castilian. Nevertheless Iceland but it sounds very good and politically it is a society with many rights where the quality of life of its inhabitants is privileged. An image that I recognize of Iceland, are those little houses with roofs where the lawn covers the whole house, including the roof, it is as if the house was born from the earth, simply beautiful!

The first time I was interested in Iceland was knowing that it was the country of origin of one of my favorite singers, Björk, so I informed myself and I definitely wanted to visit it one day.

Iceland is a small island in the middle of the North Atlantic, its population is only 350,000 inhabitants and due to its location it is a country with great volcanic activity, its cultural roots come from the Nordic tradition, which I personally love! Iceland is a country that experienced a great economic crisis in 2008 and due to this a great revolution that in 2010 culminated in a change to the constitution and a sustainable recovery that makes it the 6th most developed country in the world thanks to its progress in the area of tourism and the last leftist government of environmentalist court. Iceland is also an example of a country by using only renewable energy to provide electricity to its inhabitants and I think that is a great leap of consciousness, thinking about the ecological crisis with no return that we are living in the world.

Finally, I like Iceland's climate, I don't like heat and summer and Iceland is mostly cold, being between Greenland and Europe. I also like that it’s an island formed by volcanic eruptions, which makes it a country with a lot of variation in its landscapes, making it quite diverse, with rivers, lakes, glaciers, mountains, coastline, etc. It is also a privileged place to see the fascinating northern lights, an astronomical phenomenon like no other.

Anyway, I think it is a very beautiful place, very diverse and with a great cultural contribution.
